Each year we screen the very best films and documentaries about our planet and host several inspirational speakers.
The Strawberry Earth Film Festival is also a platform for lots of creative and green organisations as well as memorable parties featuring musical talent from the European DJ and live music scene.
In addition, every year Strawberry Earth uses a portion of the money raised during the festival to make the cinema venues eco friendlier.
On 27 January, 2010 Strawberry Earth ended a successful year of events with the Strawberry Earth Quiz Night: "Embrace the Freaks of Nature"! Hosted by Quiz Master Maxim Hartman and his sparkling assistant Tim den Besten, the quiz night was a celebration of the purpose and beauty of biodiversity. We beamed 15m high live twitter feeds on buildings in Amsterdam in the build up to the quiz night and everyone who took part on the night itself had a lot of fun...
On Sunday 17 October 2010, we launched Strawberry Earth Wonderland, the Netherlands' first eco fashion, art and music fair. The event was held in TrouwAmsterdam and we were blown away by the repsonse. We were completely sold out and featured on Dutch tv news, national newspapers, fashion magazines and blogs - eco fashion is most definitely hot!...
