I'm convinced that this is the most amazing picture you'll see today! It's an amber fossil of a spider that was just about to eat up a tiny wasp that got trapped in its web. Just as the wasp was about to be attacked, tree resin flowed over and captured both of them!
A zoology professor from Oregon State University (George Poinar) and an amber collector from Kentucky (Ron Buckley) discovered this amazing amber fossil in Burma and it's around 100 million years old and dates back to the Early Cretaceous period!!! For more information head to Discovery.
