Erik Hijweege saw his first storm in 'Tornado Alley'. It was the beginning of an search for overwhelming nature experiences like impressive waterfalls in Africa, America, Brazil and Iceland.

Due to climate change nature becomes unpredictable and more intense. It's like nature tells us we we need to stop messing with her. 'Sublime Nature' reflects these changes in our climate.

Erik Hijweege works as a photographer since1998. We were also blown away by his book 'Endangered' with photo's of endangered animals in deep frozen ice.

You can visit the Eduard Planting Gallery in Amsterdam to see 'Sublime Nature' from Wednesday until Saturday from 1 pm until 6 pm.

See you there!
