Prinzessinnengärten (Princess gardens) at Moritzplatz, Kreuzberg is one of Berlin's best kept secrets. It's not only a garden but also a place where people can learn about organic food production, healthy eating and how to lead a greener lifestyle.
The site was a wasteland for decades until the Nomadisch
Grün collective decided to clear away the rubbish and build organic vegetable plots that can be easily moved from one site to another. Check out this lovely video from Monocle to hear more about the project. Happy gardening :-)
