Yep, SLOW not only refers to the seven-day presentation, but also to the manner in which the collection can be purchased. Natalie encourages people to put together their own clothing and by doing so, she brings back the value of clothing. The whole collection is made with topnotch materials from the Dutch fashion industry, all reclaimed and recycled.
We think it’s super cool that Natalie wants to explore new and circular systems, instead of selling as many of her designs as possible. She teamed up with Holly Syrett of GW Agency to set up a platform for reused and recycled materials. A perfect match, since GW Agency is supporting industry development and sustainability in the entire fashion chain. Together they show fashion can be presented, created and consumed in a more conscious way.
You can pop in daily at Westerlab in Amsterdam to see the collection and assemble it yourself. Underneath you can find the exact program.
