5 x knitwear for men

Better get ready for winter, boys! The FW 2015/2016 collection is all about knitwear. Ranging from basic cable knits to two-tone textures and quirky intarsias. Charlie + Mary selected a few of this season's trending styles.

Ribbed knitwear

Uhhh, ribbed knitwear? Yep, a very interesting (and pretty) look this season because of the super-dense cables and heavyweight braided knits, drop-needle stitches, and two-tone texture, like this punto Milano knitted sweater by Wunderwerk. A winter basic for sure.

Quirky intarsias

This winter we see classic crewneck bodies with quirky intarsia knits. Like this nordic inspired knit by Knowledge Cotton Apparel.

Pilot jacket

We see more bomber style and aviator inspired jackets this season, especially with soft and warm fabrics. Wunderwerk brings you a soft woolen version with handy pockets and stand up collar this year.

Cable knits

The comfy cable knit is a classic. It's easy to wear and suits all kinds of situations. In short: the perfect winter wardrobe staple. L'Herbe Rouge has a beautiful night blue cable in her collection this season.

PATCHWORK

We also see artisanal and design patchwork effects this season, like this one in the latest Studio JUX collection or this two toned reverse knit cardigan by Knowledge Cotton Apparel.
