The collection of Strawberry Earth Academy fellow Studio JUX will focus on Nepali handicrafts: dip-dye, melange knit and handmade jewellery. Colours are bright mint and coral combined with beige next to stunning black & white prints. We're super proud of designer Jitske Lundgren and her team. They developed a beautiful collection while at the same time helping out the Nepali tailors to rebuild their homes after the earthquake.
The SS16 collection by L'Herbe Rouge, another Strawberry Earth Academy fellow, is stylish and sophisticated as ever. Expect soft, elegant tencel styles and interesting knits. Some prints come in earthy tones and others are Mondriaan inspired with bright blues, reds and white. Key pieces are an over-the-knee skirt and a jumpsuit in two tones of denim blue. The men's collection include stunning shirts in sand and earth tones, but also woven fabrics inspired by... clouds!
People Tree's SS16 collection include catchy prints and contemporary designs. Just what we like about People Tree. The prints are inspired by the mixed worlds we live in. We're influenced by the increasing dependance on technology and at the same time are desiring sustainable products and a slower lifestyle. These ideas are translated into a collection with shades of indigo blues, British riviera looks and lovely sun bleached colours. Because of People Tree's 25th anniversary and the label being founded in Japan - some Japanese design pieces are included in the collection too. Hurrah for this third Strawberry Earth Academy fellow!
Wunderwerk will bring a beautiful range of denim pieces with complementary prints in shades of blue, grey and pink. Basics in ice blue give the collection a super fresh feeling. Layering pieces are made of a variety of knits; chunky knitted jumpers, finely knitted cardigans and melee knits. And like every other collection, Wunderwerk offers some perfectly fitted organic cotton jeans for both men and women.
