Art exhibition Fei Alexeli

Art exhibition Fei Alexeli

Today Charlie+Mary are presenting a brand new art exhibition in their concept store. Until Tuesday, 30 June 2015 you can find the Greek artist Fei Alexeli on their walls. Come over and check out the work of this Amsterdam based photographer!

'The interrupted places' is a series of digital collages. It's a dialogue between existent and nonexistent places, where Alexeli 'manipulates' and twists our worlds to evoke an emotional experience.

'De donde crece la palma' (where the palm tree grows), is a photo project from Alexeli's trip to Cuba in 2013. The project is inspired by the impulsiveness and beauty of Cuba and its people. The digital photos and multiple exposures are used in one frame to capture the multidimensional character and liveliness of this unique place.

About Alexeli

Alexei has lived in Oxford, London and Frankfurt. While studying architecture in Oxford, she found her passion for visual arts and started combining photography, photo-montage and digital collage. Her work communicates in a poetic manner.
