First some sustainable shopping tips. 1) 69B on broadway market (best day to visit is on a Saturday when the market is on) 2) Here today here tomorrow is located in upcoming Dalston. 3) The Keep boutique is a lovely shop in Brixton village. 4) Blitz is a vintage shop just off Bricklane with a regularly updated and collection, neatly organised by style.
London is packed with great coffee places. These spots serve honest and really good coffee: 1) The Gallery is a hidden and very pretty little coffee venue in an alley next to Taylor street gallery. 2) Monmouth is seen as an institute in London and with good reason. 3) We love the location of the Borough market venue, surrounded with deliciousness.
Dinner & Drinks
1) Britain's first and only organic certified pub The Duke of Cambridge is located in centrally located Angel. Amazing food and drinks! 2) If you're feeling nostalgic the pub Ye Olde Chesire Cheese, close to St Paul's is great for drinks as well. Approached through a narrow alleyway this pub beckons you into a bygone world. 3) The Samual Smith's drinks menu offers delicious organic beers and ales.
Exhibition - Guy Bourdin: Image Maker, at Somerset House
Until 15 March 2015 you can visit UK's largest exhibition ever of the influential and enigmatic fashion photographer Guy Bourdin at Somerset house. The exhibition features over 100 works and previously unseen material from the photographer's estate, from 1955 to 1987.
