Very Berry People no. 10

Very Berry People no. 10

Our tenth Very Berry Person is known for her love for the music industry. Nienke is founder of sustainable agency Fair&Tell and works for Mysteryland, Welcome to the Future, 10,000 HOURS and ID&T. We caught up with her during the Strawberry Earth Fair night programme. Of coooourse.

"After graduating in sustainable leadership and entrepreneurship, I started Fair&Tell on my birthday. And hip, hip, hoorah: one of my first clients was ID&T. This year, I did the communication and PR for the second time for ADE Green: a conference on sustainability by ID&T and ADE. It was sold out, Michael Lang (Woodstock '69) and Kumi Naidoo (director Greenpeace International) were speaking and we even had to move to a bigger location: the Brakke Grond."

Nienke also joined all Dutch voluntary projects by 10,000 HOURS: an initiative where young people around the world can donate their time to give something back. "At the Welcome to the Future voluntary days we're always getting our hands dirty outside. Planting trees, cutting back bushes. I love learning about wild flowers and insects I've never seen before."

"The best part? To see how the trees we've planted last year are growing. Instant satisfaction."
