How to Green your Film Production (so far)

We are very proud to announce that our very first 'book' is available online now! From all the knowledge we gained with the Green Film Making Project, we gathered the most important tips and tricks in the first Dutch sustainable film production guide: "How to Green your Film Production (so far)”.

Thekla Reuten, actress and ambassador of the Green Film Making Project, presented the first copy to Director General Leeftink of the Ministry of Economic Affairs at the Dutch Film Festival in 2013. The guide is available online now and can be downloaded here.

With the Green Film Making project we challenge the Dutch film industry to come up with innovative and green solutions. Film professionals work in an industry that has great impact because of the visibility. There is a lot to be gained in the field of sustainability. From catering to transport and exposure to manufacturing and lighting.

We hope to inspire filmmakers to take a look at their everyday practice. Every step counts, whether it is big or small!

In 2012 Strawberry Earth started the Green Film Making Project in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, DOEN, ASN Bank, NTR and the Dutch Film Fund.
