Japanese festival inamsterdam

Attention all mums and dads, one of Amsterdam's  most fun kids festivals is back, the Japanese Summer Festival: Star Festival (or Tana Bata Kai in Japanese) takes place on 7 July with lots of handmade and craft activities for your children to have fun with. (The festival is for children aged 2 and over)

Our friends from the lovely blog Flatto81 (who I've written about before) will be organising a ‘crown making’ and ‘milky way painting’ session, using handmade eco inks from Atelier Chika Ito. Very Strawberry! And there'll also be:

-mini workshops on how to create your own Japanese ornaments
- water balloon fishing & (toy) gold fish scooping
- Japanese snacks and stuff stand by Roppongi

For more bckground on the festival (including the beautiful Japanese legend behind the festival's name) visit  the Kyoko KinderKunstKlas website and colourful facebook page. I'll be dropping by with Suki so hopefully see some of you fellow Strawberries too :-)

If you'd like to go you do have to REGISTER via the Kyoko KinderKunstKlas website registration form. Tickets are €14 per child and the second child under 2 is free. Here's a quick summary:
